The virtual curriculum covers creative writing, character design, character development, plot development, literary lessons, and art. A combination of group, independent, and self-expression activities included for a fun-filled week for the kids! Also includes 1-year free access to our Storymakery online studio and publishing account. Instructors lead typing, reviews, and final editing.

Online instruction provided via Zoom.  Access to an internet connection, PC, or laptop (e.g. Chromebooks) required.

Intro to Creative Writing (Ages 5-6)

Children at this age have an unlimited supply of imagination and ideas. They just may not know how to express what they’re thinking in writing. During the camp, our staff will work with students in the following areas:

Young Author Fiction Writing (Ages 7-9)

Our camp curriculum for ages 7-9 explores fiction writing in-depth and covers the following topics as they create their books during the week:

SHORT STORY WRITING (AGES 10-12)

Our camp curriculum for ages 10-12  explores short-story writing and goes beyond the basics of foundational elements.

  • Must be in kindergarten or above
  • The child should be able to write simple sentences by sounding out words.

Cancellation Policy: You can choose from one of the three options:

  • 100% credit through December 2021 for any experience, class, camp, or merchandise.   
  • Make-Up Sessions at any time.
